Finally, my gentoo box is up !Gentoo is a linux flavor which is the talk of the town now! I actually didn’t want to try it from the start because I know the installation process is such a pain. You need to do anything by yourself (no installation manager). Anyway, after couple hours installing from stage3, I can finally boot up the kernel !!!!! That’s so amazing to me! I’m not an experienced Linux user, but I ended up booting the gentoo kernel … how sweet !! I think the best part of installing gentoo is the feeling you got after you can boot it up ! HAH … As of writing this blog, I’m doing "emerge kde mozilla openoffice kopete mplayer" -_- will check back again on Monday 😀
